The Somar Corporation delegation headed by the President of the Company Futoshi Sotani arrived in Kazan on May 30 with the organizational support of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. It will be an eventful program expecting the delegation from Japan within the framework of the two-day visit; the representatives will see all leading production sites of the Republic.The purpose of the meeting organization between the two parties was the discussion of possible ways for importing Somar products with subsequent localization of products manufacturing in Tatarstan, such as resin, rubber, chemicals for the automotive industry, electronics, capsules for medicines, as well as export of film coatings from the Republic of Tatarstan.
Business program for the working group of the first day of their visit is dedicated to the production sites of the Special Economic Zone Alabuga, and Kamaz PJSC. The delegation has begun their second day with a visit to the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan with a view to learn the existing investment mechanisms in the Republic. Further in the program of the Somar Corporation working group - meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The second half of the program - the production facilities of Technopolis Khimgrad and Kazan-Orgsynthez PAO are expected to be visited.
The program of events envisages a meeting of the delegation with Tatchempharmpreparaty JSC management. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss issues related to the production of encapsulated drugs using Somar gelatin free technologies, which in turn will give the drugs a special status “Halal” (permissible).
