At the Bashir Rameev IT Park, on Russian Science Day, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the "Scientific Breakthrough. Fanni alga kitesh" competition. The event became a landmark in the development of the region's scientific ecosystem, being the first to be implemented with the support of the Endowment Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. The ceremony was attended by the Rais of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov; Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin; President of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, Rifkat Minnikhanov; President of the Russian Academy of Education, Olga Vasilyeva; and others.

The Endowment Fund was established by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences to finance fundamental science, research, and development. It forms endowed capital from donations in accordance with federal law.

"Today, the priorities of the Endowment Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan are science, education, students, teachers, and young scientists. This first project, implemented with the support of the Tatarstan Endowment Fund, is a landmark for the republic and demonstrates the successful launch of a new mechanism for financing scientific and educational initiatives in the republic. It is a transparent instrument where the donations themselves are not spent, but rather the income generated from their investment," emphasized Damir Galiev, Director of IVF RT.

During the award ceremony, laureates were recognized in ten categories covering various fields of scientific activity: "Digitalization in Science," "Perspective," "Scientist-Educator," "Calling," "Best Scientific Mentor," "Science for Children," "Science Journalist," "For Loyalty to Science," and a "Special Nomination." In the "Best Scientist" category, the winner was Kev Salikhov, Scientific Director of the Zavoisky Kazan Physical-Technical Institute (KPhTI) of the Kazan Scientific Center (KSC) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) in the field of "Physics."
