The Russian Venture Forum is the main event of the Russian venture industry. The event has been held in Kazan since 2005. Over the entire history of the forum, more than 2,400 companies and 700 startups have participated in the business program and exhibition. The main theme of the forum this year is "Technological Entrepreneurship: A Space of Higher Competencies." The forum will feature more than 20 events, thematically divided into 3 main blocks:

Ecosystem: This covers the environment and tools for accelerating the generation of technology companies. The most important part of this block will be the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform, infrastructure for development and financing of early stages and developments, including companies investing in small businesses and endowment funds.

Venture Investments and Technological Entrepreneurship: This covers the current state of the venture investment market, structuring deals in the Russian jurisdiction, syndication, the state of the early-stage private investor sector (business angels), and the development of relevant networks and communities.

Markets: This covers promising niches for investment and the development of technological business, both in terms of industry and geography, considering the reorientation towards friendly countries' markets.

Experts and industry leaders will discuss the global and Russian technology and investment agenda in the new conditions, talk about creating incentives for the development of domestic innovations, access to financing for startups, and other issues.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the forum is the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov.

The composition of more than 90 speakers will include partners and directors of venture fund management companies, top managers of corporations responsible for innovative development, as well as heads of government bodies.

The forum program includes the Plenary Session "Technological Entrepreneurship: A Space of Higher Competencies," a startup pitch session, round tables, and conferences on venture investments and entrepreneurship. In addition, within the framework of RVF 2024, the final selection of startups for the acceleration program will take place. 50 technology startups will compete for investments of up to 50 million rubles.

On April 24, the official "day zero" of the forum will be held at the site of the special economic zone "Innopolis," featuring an invest-breakfast, a panel discussion, and the 25th Expert Council for the selection of startups for the SEZ Innopolis.

In 2023, the Russian Venture Forum was visited by more than 3,000 participants. The central topics of discussion were solutions for Russia's technological development. During the forum, 16 round tables took place, and about 150 speakers spoke.

The Russian Venture Forum is held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The organizers of the forum are the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Venture Investment Association, the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development, and the Eurasian Innovation Center.

Startups that did not make it to the exhibition can come to the event as participants to forge new partnerships and attract investments.
