Results of the "Innovation of the Year – 2024" Competition: Winners Announced

The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the organizing committee of the Republican competition “Innovation of the Year,” chaired by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, Rifkat Minnikhanov. The competition was organized by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of Tatarstan, and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic. During the event, the results were summed up, and the winners were approved in five categories.
The main objectives of the competition in 2024 were to implement innovative technologies in the republic’s economy, develop high-tech production, and enhance the competitiveness of technology companies. This year, the competition underwent a transformation, with experts focusing on ready-to-use solutions—prototypes and projects with business potential. The emphasis on applied developments improved the quality of submissions and allowed the selection of the most promising initiatives. Experts noted that the live stage of the competition revealed that many projects have potential for participation in programs by the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan, including acceleration and startup support. A total of 514 applications were submitted.
