Results of the First Half of 2025: Investments Amounting to 1.1 Billion Rubles
In the first half of 2025, the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan (IVF RT) supported 18 promising projects with a total budget of 1.1 billion rubles. This is almost 270 million more than last year.
IVF RT analyzed 1,098 projects to assess their investment potential, which is 29 more than last year. As a result, 18 projects were selected for financing under support programs such as the University Startup Studio, the Lobachevsky Fund, the Industrial Development Fund, and others.
Among the supported projects are developments with prototypes and patents, including a network of smart pedestrian crossings (650 complexes installed in 55 Russian cities), as well as success in selling more than 1,000 devices for self-administered intramuscular injections.
The portfolio of funded projects covered key industries: medicine (37.5%), instrument engineering (25%), artificial intelligence (12.5%), industry (12.5%), energy (6.25%), and automotive (6.25%).
Special attention was paid to involving students, teachers, and researchers in technological entrepreneurship. Together with the University Startup Studio and the Lobachevsky University Venture Fund, 13 startups were funded in the first half of the year for a total of 55.9 million rubles – 6.9 million rubles more than a year earlier.
The financing of projects and strengthening of the innovation ecosystem were facilitated by a number of technological and strategic events held by the fund, thanks to the support of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Thus, one of the main events was the XIX Russian Venture Forum - 2025, organized jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, APDD, the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, and Technopark "Idea," which set new records: about 5,000 participants, 150 startups, 265 speakers from 9 countries, and 71 events.
Also, a significant step was the launch of the Program for Supporting Innovative Projects in the Field of "Agrotechnologies and Biotechnologies" jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan.
[IVF RT also implemented a number of initiatives in the development of its subsidiaries. Thus, under the management of LLC "Unipark," there are 16 industrial parks, where in the first half of the year the number of residents increased by 7 and reached 185. The Research and Production Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems of the Republic of Tatarstan attracted 15 residents. During the operation of the Endowment Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, 3 endowments were formed for a total amount exceeding 16 million rubles; the profit is planned to be used for partial financing of the republican competition "Innovation of the Year" and the "Scientific Breakthrough" competition.]
