Today, a press conference dedicated to the International Forum Kazan Digital Week – 2025 was held at the "Tatar-inform" news agency. Participants discussed key directions of digital transformation – from industry to healthcare and finance.

Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, Damir Galiev, delivered a report, presenting the forum's direction "Innovations Integrated into Business." He emphasized that this direction has been organized by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan for the fifth consecutive year, and it has become a stable platform for exchanging experience and implementing advanced solutions in the field of innovative entrepreneurship.

The format includes 9 sections, of which 6 are dedicated to the direction "Innovations Integrated into Business" and 3 to Islamic finance. The program will include activities such as the "Sputnik" event, InvestDay: from Pre-IPO to Exchange, organized jointly with the Moscow Exchange, as well as pitch sessions and DemoDay. More than 500 participants and 50 speakers are expected – owners and managers of companies, startup teams, investors, and venture capitalists.

The topics cover a wide range of issues: the venture market and private investments, fundraising tools, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, unmanned systems, Islamic finance, and the development of innovation infrastructure.

Damir Galiev noted that during the preparation for the forum, a webinar was held on the topic "How to Implement and Scale Your Idea: Tools for Supporting Technology Projects from the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan." The online event gathered hundreds of participants, many of whom learned about the opportunities for implementing innovative and scientific-technological projects. The webinar was also aimed at collecting applications for the "Innovation of the Year" competition, and for the first time this year, in the "Corporate Innovation" category, an in-person selection stage will take place right at the Kazan Digital Week venue.

A novelty of the forum will also be a large-scale DemoDay and an international startup exhibition, where 30 innovative projects will be presented. The best of them will have the opportunity to take the stage at the Russian Venture Forum 2026. In addition, a meeting of the expert council for selecting startups for the SEZ "Innopolis" will be held at KDW.

This year, one of the forum's partners will organize 4 sections within the "FinTech Ecosystem" direction. The agenda includes the global status of sustainable development and practices affecting Russian business and the regulatory environment; prospects for the digital ruble and new payment technologies such as bio-acquiring; cybersecurity challenges and the application of artificial intelligence in financial management. In addition, in the partner's sections, you can learn about how AI is changing FinTech and BigTech companies, its role in personalizing services and the battle for customers, as well as the transformation of customer experience.

Also speaking at the press conference were the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rodion Karpov, on the topic "Digital Industry 4.0," noting that automation and the introduction of digital solutions are becoming the basis for increasing productivity and competitiveness of enterprises. Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almir Abashev, spoke about the prospects for introducing telemedicine, electronic medical records, and AI diagnostic systems. According to him, digital technologies are becoming an integral part of accessible and high-quality medicine.
